Tailored Look Alteration
We specialize in wedding gown customization including but not limited to, adding or removing sleeves, making sleeve from scratch, adding or removing layers of skirt, lining bodice, lowering/raising neckline (please inquire) resizing up to four sizes. Resizing of a suit, narrowing shoulders, taking in sides including front sides through the pockets. Recut of the pants, removing pleats in the front etc. That's just a small list of operations that we can do for you besides smaller jobs like zipper repair, simple hem or just a button.
WHO I AM
Welcome, my name is Elena and I've been sewing for over 30 years. I've spent decades mastering different types of fit and fabrics. I've helped over 400 brides to get their perfect dress ready, as well as special occasion dresses, men suits, leather jackets, denim patches, sweater looping and many more operations. I have bachelors in fashion design and worked making custom clothes before moving to the US. I have started my journey in the field of alterations after moving to the US in 2000, I have worked in private shops before getting hired with Nordstrom where I stayed for a little over ten years in total. I have been promoted to manage a big and dynamic team of tailors before I decided to separate from the company and pursue my own goal.
